Quality Systems Engineer (Bilingual)

Your Role

Bilingual Communication & Training: Deliver quality system training, point lessons, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions in both English and Spanish; translate quality  documentation, procedures, work instructions, training materials, and communications between English and Spanish; act as a liaison between management and Spanish speaking employees to ensure quality requirements are effectively communicated and understood; support employee understanding of quality standards, procedures, and compliance expectations across all departments; collaborate with supervisors and department leaders to ensure workforce engagement in quality initiatives. Your Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, BRCGS, customer, and corporate requirements; ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and controlled documents remain current and effective with Mango System; maintain alignment with Group Quality Management System requirements and ensure local implementation of global quality processes; manage document control, records management, change control, corrective actions, preventive actions, and nonconformance processes; support development and maintenance of Quality Control Plans, process controls, inspection requirements, and quality records; utilize electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) and digital tools, including Mango QMS, to manage documents, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Audit & Compliance Management: Ensure the facility remains in a constant state of audit readiness; develop, coordinate, and execute the Internal Audit Program covering ISO 9001 requirements, BRCGS requirements, process audits, product audits, Quality Control Plan verification, and manufacturing process compliance; coordinate and support customer, certification body, and regulatory audits; track audit findings and ensure timely completion of corrective actions; support compliance with additional standards and regulatory requirements including ISO 45001 and other applicable systems.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action Management: Identify, investigate, and report quality system non-compliance issues; facilitate root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies; lead corrective and preventive action activities to eliminate recurring issues; monitor trends and recommend improvements to enhance system effectiveness.

Your profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Compliance within a manufacturing environment; experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems required; experience with BRCGS, ISO 45001, or other internationally recognized management systems preferred; experience participating in internal and external audits; experience supporting ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA, is highly desirable.

Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required; ability to effectively translate technical and quality documentation between English and Spanish; ability to conduct training and presentations in both languages.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems; working knowledge of auditing principles and CAPA processes; experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies; familiarity with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS); knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM) module preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality data analysis tools.
