Your mission at LINDAL
In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance, changes to and repair of plastic injection mould tools.
Operating toolroom machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and assembling tooling.
Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve issues and address with minimal downtime to aid production.
Estimate length of time required to complete a job.
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard while adhering to company policies.
Ensure company targets are met in respect of H&S, quality and efficiency.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on mould tools.
Carry out scheduled tool version changes.
Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
Your profile
The Toolroom Technician
Knowledge of mechanical assembly, close tolerance work, measurement and the build process of injection moulding tools.
Uses methodical approach with a high attention to detail.
Understanding of service scheduling.
Understanding of engineering drawings.
Understanding manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
Planning and prioritising activities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
Ability to multi- task
Desirable
CNC, CAD\CAM experience
Experience Microsoft applications

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Manufacturing environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. We are looking to extend our toolroom operations from 07:00 – 18:00. Start and Finishing times will differ according to business needs.
