The Quality and Compliance Systems Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that documentation control, audits and systems are effectively administered, continuously improved and audit ready always.

- Collaborating with the Quality Manager and Team to deliver Quality product to our customers using effective systems.
- Ensure all Group defined processes are implemented locally.
- Collaborate with Group Quality and other sites in an efficient and effective manner and proactively seek out best practices and process innovations.
- Maintain the facility’s Quality Management System so that all requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner, e.g., while not limited to internal audit program, control of documents & records, corrective & preventive action process.
- Maintain the facility’s QMS so that it is continuously audit ready for ISO 9001 and BRCGS. Support the integration of any other certification/regulatory/legal requirements, e.g., ISO14001, ISO 45001, BRCGS etc.
- Internal Audits:
Ensure the Internal Audit schedule addresses all elements of the ISO9001 and BRCGS. Additionally, all operational aspects of daily business, e.g. Quality Control Plan, IPQC checks, Process Controls, Record completion, etc. - Perform training on ISO9001 & BRCGS systems within the facility to site leadership & supervisors so that their role requirements to fulfil the standard.
- Collaborate with all functional Leaders to ensure they understand the areas of the QMS they are responsible for complying with and are aware of how they impact the overall performance of the QMS.
- Ensure all functional leaders maintain their element of the QMS and always keep it up to date, taking the necessary actions to address any negative performance or trends.
- Use all smart tools available to support the maintenance and upkeep of the QMS, i.e. Mango for (at minimum):
- Control of Documents
- Performing Internal Audits (e.g. system, process and product - QC plan)
- Maintain and promote high standards in health, safety and housekeeping.
- Ensure plant adherence to and improvement of Quality Management system requirements and procedures.
- Undertake internal audits and assist in preparation for external audits.
- Lead and participate in problem solving as part of a proactive Quality team.
- Manage and Control the Document Control systems.
- Draft Quality Reports.
- Engage constructively with other departments to drive continuous improvement programmes with clear and measurable objectives.
- Construct charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
