Your mission at LINDAL

This position is to propose, design and develop new or improved valve, actuator and other dispensing product designs that meet unmet customer needs. This role will translate customer requirements into detailed product requirements and specifications. This role will interact with all departments within the GIC to maintain a coherent approach to projects and Work with project teams in accordance with internal processes and procedures.


Your profile


  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1 year of experience as a Product Development Engineer working on the design and development of actuators and valves.
  • The 1 year of experience must include project management, product development, and industrialization experience in the aerosol industry; CAD/CAM platform drawing experience including Solidworks; design & development of consumer packaging products; developing failure diagnostic and prognostic model
    • 40% domestic and international travel required

  • Propose, design and develop new or improved valve, actuator and other dispensing product designs that meet unmet customer needs. Translate customer requirements into detailed
  • product requirements and specifications. Interact with all departments within the GIC to maintain a coherent approach to projects. Work with project teams in accordance with internal
  • processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with local technical departments at the manufacturing site to drive successful New Product industrialization and commercialization projects in the most effective and timely way.
  • Establish a local R&D capability in North America with the long-term goal of building a team that can operate as an effective extension to the GIC in France. 
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to understand customer and market requirements. 
  • Keep up to date on the latest technologies from suppliers, customers and competitors to provide cost-saving and innovation opportunities. 
  • Qualify new products according to the specifications and the effective aerosol legislation. 
  • Organize the search for new technologies based on the technical targets of new projects. 
  • Assist with product training to personnel joining Lindal North America.
