Reporting directly to the Group Quality Manager, you will work autonomously from the Briey site for all Group entities.

Responsibilities – Global Metrology Specialist:
-  My top priority is supporting all 10 production sites and the R&D department (GIC) on any metrology aspect. Using equipment like the CT scanner to understand the compliance of existing products to design specification. Furthermore support the sites on root cause investigation.
-  As the group metrology authority work closely with site engineering on the critical products. 
Analyse (CT) them against the specification and identify critical to function and critical dimensions.
- Use data as the primary source for factual based decision making, to consider process capability via Cp & Cpk.  
-  Support all measurement activity at Group level, while supporting the sites as necessary. Provide hands-on support to any issues, working closely with the team to guide the path towards resolution. 
-  Provide input to the development of equipment requirements (jigs, fixtures) necessary to support the metrology function in the measurement of parts in a repeatable & reproducible manner.
- Be a trainer to broaden internal capability skillsets, to position the sites for smooth and effective operation of the metrology area.
-  Identify continual improvement opportunities so that a view towards best practice is always present.
-  Support OGSM and review of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the assessment of ongoing performance.
