Quality Technician (2nd Shift)

Our organization is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to help support our growing business. The primary purpose of this position is to assure quality throughout the manufacturing process, from supply chain to customer acceptance by defect prevention through effective problem analysis and implementation of corrective action.

Your profile
Essential Functions:

1. Audit production lines and control documents – drive corrections as required
2. Support Certificate of Conformance/Certificate of Analysis (COC/COA) approvals as needed
3. Aid in investigation of quality action implementation/training
4. Support and/or facilitate corrective action implementation/training
5. Maintain detailed reports of Key Process Indicators (KPI)
6. Participate in continual improvement projects as the lead, and/or team member
7. Perform gage training and R&R activities across all shifts
8. Coordinate containment and inspection of suspect product, as assigned
9. Establish limit samples and provide production team training
10. Provide training updates to operators regarding quality related documents/procedures
11. Create quality alerts and provide awareness training as needed
12. Manage daily receiving inspection activities as developed
13. Assist with immediate sorting as needed to support the maintenance/repair team

Secondary Job Functions:
• Essential Team Member for BRC Audit
• Perform as back up to other quality team members’ functions as needed
• Assist with immediate sorting as needed to support maintenance/repair team

Competencies:

• Knowledge of gauges and inspection/measuring equipment preferred
• Experience in data collection and SPC a plus
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Office) required

Required Education and Experience High School Diploma
Minimum of 2 years’ related experience

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ​​​​ $23/hr ​

  • Monday to Friday 
  • 8 hour shift
  • Overnight 
Work Location: In person
